Greetings and God bless.  It’s a pleasure to write to you once again and to share with you one of the most anticipated trips for Illuminating Faith this year.  We decided to visit Armenia and to help support 60 needy children with school supplies and clothing for the school year.  With the Grace of God, we met phenomenal children and witnessed hope that was truly astonishing.  The people in Armenia live in dire situations yet believe that God will deliver them from their situation.  For those that live in the West and/or places that are better off, we tend to forget the blessings that God has already given us.  This trip to Armenia is one of those activities that helps to realign our lives and to place the focus back on the Lord.  Is life only about accumulating wealth?  Are we to submit to our insatiable appetites, or are we spiritual beings that are in need of God?  Certainly, the people we met in Armenia definitely had a different outlook.

It was a blessing to see children filled with joy and the relief that the parents felt knowing that people from another part of the world care for their needs.  We were honored and blessed to have taken on the project to serve the Lord in Armenia.   Each believer should take the opportunity to serve the Lord wherever it should be.  It’s our responsibility to evangelize and to meet the needs of those who are suffering.  Let’s be like Christ and go out in to the world and to be the Salt and Light
